Round 2.1

Cycle 2.1 (round 2 day 1) had a little more kick than 1.1 or 1.2 for that matter. More fatigue and nausea. My Dad and Kathy made the time go by faster. Gonna have to do chemo at the hospital on the 4th of July. Bummer. However, my oncologist Dr. Pluard doesn’t want to interrupt the cycle. He wants to push hard for a cure. I like his attitude.

White blood cells are down, but I feel pretty good. Kathy and I went for a 3 mile walk to get the the system flowing. Felt better. Very nice day.

Here are some pictures of last year’s 4th. Those are professional fireworks 200 yards off my deck. This year not only are we celebrating a soon to be cure, but great family and support network. Thanks again for all of your support.

Do I look Different?

There goes the hair. I was thinking about getting a whig but that could freak people out. What do you think? Some of it started falling out on Friday night.  I have to admit.  I was skeptical as to whether or not chemo had the power to take down a Grossman’s wool….but it did.  Oh well. It is what it is. Round 2 starts tomorrow.  Killin Cancer!
